She believes in being a positive worker who sees the best in everything and everyone. Culture and travelling steers her inspirations and opens her eyes to the wide world. Kezia gains a lot of inspiration from museums, visiting countries, architecture and the people she meets. It is important to tell a story.

Kezia was working on a swimwear project for Miravle Suit. She experimented in her sketchbook with print, colour and scale. Kezia layered objects and lines on top of each other to show different opacities. The print design originally came from a collage created in her sketchbook which she manipulated on Photoshop. Kezia really likes working with geometric shapes and contrasting colours as they create an amazing impact.

Gap Internship, New York

Kezia was invited to be an intern at The GAP Inc in New York for eight weeks as a member of the Body team. She lived in central Manhattan and would commute to Tribeca every morning to meet her 9am start. This opportunity provided her with a huge scope of knowledge and experience working in a global, commercial company. She found the internship very beneficial as she could forsee new collections and stories being created. Kezia was part of the decision of what will be coming out for the next season. She soaked up all of the culture, history and art whilst living in New York visiting museums, exhibitioms, exploring and being adventurous.

Style And Colour Trend Forecasting Kezia really enjoys predicting future trends. Her inspiration comes from art and interesting articles that are related to science and geography. She especially likes to read the national geographic magazine as it has amazing photography coming from all around the world. She likes to bring her images to life by overlaying texture and enhancing the hues and saturations to make a strong and bold image. Detail and shape from the imagery is key to communicate with the viewer the feel and mood of the image.
