KEY RESTAURANT GUIDE Issue115 17th Oct - 16th Dec 2017 The Key to Mijas Costa magazine’s website, www.keytomijascosta.com, is Mobile Friendly. For simplicity, we have also individually included a QR code in the legends of the individual restaurants in the Restaurant Guide so that you can click through directly from your mobile, enabling you to store the details of your favourites for future use. Just a reminder that we have highlighted the USP of each venue in the Restaurant Guide and given a brief “taster”, but you will still be able to read the whole, updated review either online at www. keytomijascosta.com, or through the individual QR codes. We are delighted to report that, at the time of going to print, the majority of the restaurants in our restaurant section could be found on the first page of Google through our restaurant guide! The reviews of new restaurants will continue to be shown in full text in the magazine.

Pitxos from only 1.50 Euros served all day. Tried and recommended from the main menu are Sundried Iberic Tomatoes. We also enjoyed the Artichokes with Grilled Ham and Idiazabel Cheese from the starter menu as well as the Stuffed Red Peppers and selection of Croquettes. The “Vasca” Salad is also highly recommended. We always enjoy “Achuras” a selection of Mixed Chorizo with Creole Sausage, Basque Chorizo and Burgos Black Pudding. Fish dishes include best quality fresh Hake as well as Octopus Leg and more. The piece de resistance are the top-quality steaks, including Basque Country Entrecote, Irish Fillet, Argentinian Rib Eye, T-Bone and Irish Black Angus Matured Steak. Also available are Lamb Chops, Burgos Baby Lamb or Segovian Suckling Pig for 2, Chicken Big Skewer, Texas BBQ Ribs (tried and tested and are really tasty) and much more. The chips are also delicious. Homemade Cheesecake for dessert is highly recommended. You can also host any celebration at Cortijo La Herradura, which has a capacity of approx 100. The most important aspect for Ben, apart from the quality of the fresh food, is that you feel at home when you pay them a visit. Live music most nights. Adjoining car park. Key Recommended.
