he Pink Palace Museum, at 3050 Central Avenue, is serving up the best of Memphis wine, food, and good times August 16, 2019 from 6:30 pm to 9:30 pm. Guests (21 years of age and older) are invited to taste wines of every hue and flavor from around the world. “This year will be better than ever thanks to the generosity of some of Memphis’ most popular restaurants and West Tennessee Crown Distributing Company.” said Luke Ramsey of the Pink Palace Education Department. Guests will have the opportunity to talk to wine experts, attend mini-lectures and learn through experience by engaging in wine-themed
activities. “People are really interested in learning about the science behind making wine and what makes certain wines match up better with different types of food,” said Ramsey. Along with a stellar selection of wines, guests can enjoy a taste of cuisine from a who’s who of popular Memphis restaurants including Alchemy, Babalu, Bounty on Broad, Char, Ecco on Overton Park, Erling Jensen, J.
