HOT 100 RICHARD CORDRAY DIRECTOR CONSUMER FINANCIAL PROTECTION BUREAU Since his appointment as director of the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, Richard Cordray has faced a constant barrage of criticism from industry leaders who object to his more or less unilateral power over the agency. Currently, Cordray is facing a court challenge from PHH Mortgage, which is appealing a massive fine he levied against the company for engaging in kickbacks. The matter is set to come before the US District Court in April, and industry experts say a loss for the CFPB could go a long way toward stripping Cordray’s powers.

Ianitti’s technical know-how hasn’t gone unnoticed: In 2014, DocMagic was one of only a few companies selected to participate in a CFPB pilot program for e-closings. And last year, the company partnered with PHH Mortgage for TRID compliance technology and announced an e-mortgage partnership with Mid America Mortgage and eSign Systems.

A co-founder and managing partner of Digital Risk, Jeffrey Taylor oversees all of the company’s sales, marketing and governmental initiatives, as well as managing high-level client relationships. A recognized industry expert, Taylor makes frequent appearances on CNBC, Fox Business, Bloomberg TV, CBS and other media outlets.
