Wine of the Month

2005 Clarendelle Bordeaux The first thing that strikes one about the 2005 Clarendelle is the intensity so typical of the vintage. Not only does this wine have a fine, rich flavor but, unusually, considerable concentration on the middle palate and finish. Relatively high acidity provides wonderful depth and enhances the wine's intrinsic fruitiness. The tannin becomes smoother with aeration, giving 2005 Clarendelle a great, velvety texture. The 2005 Clarendelle was awarded the bronze metal at the International Wine Challenge.
