The Managed Industrial Switch series incorporates Redundant Data Ring technology and redundant power supply system into customers’ industrial automation network to enhance system reliability and uptime in the factory harsh environments. It protects customer’s industrial network connectivity with switching recovery capability. They provide IP-30 aluminum case and 100Base-FX ports or Gigabit TP/SFP combo interfaces for long distance uplink. Industrial Ethernet Switches Industrial Reliability Standards The PLANET Industrial Ethernet Switches are industrially hardened. Ethernet switches specifically designed to operate reliably in electrically harsh and climatically demanding environments. The switches provide a high level of immunity to electromagnetic interference and heavy electrical surges typical environments found on plant floors or in sidewalk traffic control cabinets. An operating temperature ranging from -40 to 75 Degree C coupled with hazardous location certification (Class 1 Division 2) allows the switch to be placed in almost any location.

Enhanced Reliability and Operation The Switch is packaged in a compact, aluminum or metal case that allows either DIN or panel mounting for efficient usage of cabinet space. The Switch provides an integrated power supply with a wide range of voltages for worldwide operability or dual-redundant, reversible polarity, 24V DC and 48V DC power supply inputs for high availability applications requiring dual or backup power inputs.

Industrial Power over Ethernet PoE feature is more often supported in the industrial Ethernet devices for efficient operation in harsh environments. The PLANET industrial PoE switch series in-line power follows standard IEEE 802.3af and able to give power to PoE compliant devices at the distance up to 100 meters through the 4-pair Cat 5 / 5e UTP wire. With Data and Power over Ethernet from one unit, the Industrial PoE series shall reduce cables deployment and eliminates the need for dedicated electrical outlets on the wall, ceiling or any unreachable place. A wire that carries both data and power lowers the installation costs, simplifies the installation effort and eliminates the need for electricians or extension cords. Furthermore, there is only 24V DC input in some industrial environments, the ISW-504Px / ISW-514Px series supports 24V DC or 48V DC dual voltages input and able to provide more wide range of industrial IEEE 802.3af PoE applications.

RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485 over Fast Ethernet Media Converter Cost effective solution for RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485 to Ethernet application PLANET ICS-210x series Media Converter / Device Server is provided to converts Serial RS-232 / RS-422 / RS-485 communication interface over Fast Ethernet networking. There are RJ-45 and SC connectors and single-mode/multi-mode media for your needs. Ethernet signal allows two types of segments to connect easily, efficiently and inexpensively. Itâ&#x20AC;&#x2122;s time and expense saving for users and SI, no need to replace the existing Serial equipment and software system.

Extend distance It extends the distance of deploying Serial equipments and hosts. The selectable fiber-Optic wires on the basis of distance are provided. Remote Manageable The ICS-210x make connected Serial equipment IP-based. That also makes them able to be connected to a TCP/IP networking immediately. Each Web-Smart converter is able to manage Web Interface. The powerful Web-Smart Media Converter supports Application mode, Serial operation mode connect alarm and IP address, etc. It helps reduce the amount of valuable time that a network administrator spends detecting and locating network issues, otherwise it requires visual inspection of cabling and equipment. Multiple connection options for large networking environment are available as well.

Process Control

To monitor, configure and manage the Robot conveyer including other machines in a manufacturing, PLC (Programmable Logical Control) is required. The PLC is used to drive above the manufacturing machines process. The ICS-210x can be set to TCP Server mode and connect the PLC. The administrator can configure and set command settings through Fast Ethernet intranet to control the PLC, the administrator and workstation. There is no need to always set on both sides of the I/O machine.

Industrial Ethernet Extender The IVC-2002 equip with compact, IP-30 standard metal case allows either DIN rail or wall mounting for efficient use of cabinet space and can operates reliably in Heavy Industrial demanding environments. With 4 10/100Mbps auto negotiation ports and one VDSL2 BNC / RJ-11 combo port for current popular Ethernet Over VDSL2 connection(symmetry means upstream and downstream rate are the same or similar). It is ideal for signal conversion by transmitting the Ethernet data from the standard RG58 cable to the coaxial cable or existing copper telephone lines to extending the distance.

The IVC-2002 provides a high level of immunity against electromagnetic interference and heavy electrical surges which are usually found on plant floors or in curb side traffic control cabinets. Being able to operate under the temperature range from -40 to 75 Degree C coupled, the IVC-2002 can be placed in almost any difficult environment, also possesses an integrated power supply source with wide range of voltages (12 to 48V DC) for worldwide high availability applications requiring dual or backup power inputs.
