Today I'm going to be talking about dependant personality disorder. I'll share with you what this condition really is, ideas on how a person gets it, as well as how to eliminate it. Have you ever known someone that was very clingy, always wanted to be around you and possibly always trying to please you? It doesn't have to be a romantic relationship, but it could be. I'm sure for the first few days it's really nice and could be a big ego boost. After the honeymoon period dies down this clinginess gets a little annoying and you might take advantage of this person. When a person is like this they probably have something called dependant personality disorder. There are a variety of reasons that might cause this condition in someone, but a four letter word is most often the culprit. Can you guess what this four letter word is? Yep it's Mr. F.E.A.R. Or false expectations that appear real. Mr. Fear can rob people of their life, their talents, happiness and do it without the person knowing. People with this disorder could have a pessimistic outlook that plays into their fears and do everything they can to avoid harm. When I think of this condition I think of a character in the Game of the Thrones TV show and books. Do you know which character I'm thinking of? Yep Theon Greyjoy the person who got tortured so bad that he did everything he could to avoid harm and was scared of everything. This also reminds me that people who are positive get much more out of life than people who are negative. Think about it, it's not easy to have dependant personality disorder if your really positive and thinking about what you want to have. Instead of accepting the abuse from another person and being unhealthily clingy to them, your going to want to improve your life. It does take courage to be positive, especially with this negative world we live in. Look at how many negative news stories there are compared to positive ones! One of the best ways to be more positive is through questions. For example ask yourself what is working in your life, instead of what isn't working. If you ask yourself what is not working your going to get all kinds of negative answers. Another great idea is something like psychotherapy, and neural lingistic programing or NLP for short. Both of these can help change the way someone thinks about things and

their belief system. What we believe about ourselves is so powerful. I remember a story about a guy who was going around telling people he was a corpse. Finally someone asked him if corpses bleed. The guy said no corpses don't bleed. The person then poked him with a needle and the person who thought he was a corpse started to bleed. Can you guess what happened next? Yep, he responded with “O my god, I guess corpses do bleed. His belief was so powerful that everything that happened played into what his belief was. Finally there are various supplements and herbal medicine that can help with depression that shouldn't be ignored. Like I talked about earlier I highly recommend you check out a free video guide I created on shopping for these products. This guide talks about the top things someone really should be looking for when buying supplements, it simplifies herbal medicine and even talks about what to take for certain medical problems.
