Keys To Great Living One of the key commands of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ was to make disciples of all men. In an effort to do just that we have many things going on around the church. Wednesday nights we have something for all ages. From birth and all the way up. If you are not attending on Wednesday nights, you might find your missing on one of the great “keys” to great living. Much good teaching and relationship building goes on.
The prompting of the Holy Spirit has taken us into an understanding of our relationship with God in a way that is moving us into action towards the harvest field of people in our own spheres of influences.
becomes the primary purpose of life itself. Out of that knowledge comes the motivation for our choices. Choices are the seeds that will develop a harvest of all that we become and all that we effect in our world.
Our relationship with God has to begin with a desire to know Him. That desire will drive us to learn from His Word more about His will and deliberately adjust our responses to that information. The Apostle Paul's admonition, “To know Him and the Power of His resurrection” Philippians 3:10, directs us to the basis of our learning curve “Who God is”. And to know Him
When we begin to discover God and the things that bring joy to His heart, we also begin to discover who we are. Two parts to our identity - first, who we are in our own evaluation and second, who we are in God’s evaluation, which will rise out of the discovery of God.
Sunday School is another great opportunity. It starts at 9:30 am on Sunday mornings. Again this is a great time to get with a smaller group and build great relationships and build a great life. Also, be sure and watch for our speciality classes. These are offered on a random schedule. Right now we are a offering a marriage class. It is a “short term” class. This is being taught by David and Cathy Burkett.
When we take a real look at our value in the eyes of God, a

LOOKING TOWARD 2014 WITH EXPECTATION! Last Year is over. 2014 has begun! My prayer is for each of us is to grow in our relationship with God and to dig deeper in His word. Complacency should not be a part of our New Year. Let God Stretch You. It's important for growth. Know what you believe! Know Who you serve! Then as we move ahead, we can begin to look for new plans and purposes that God has positioned for us along the way. No one is exempt. Everyone is included! God has plans for both young and old. It's a fresh,
new year....and That's Exciting! Brothers and Sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus." FOUR KEYS TO EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATION Developing an organization's communications strategy is a lot like determining where to fish: question after question. Where do you drop your line? To what depth? Using what bait and hook? Are fish even in this area?
Supportive design, strong content, medium, brevity: all serve as communication factors, not guarantors of success. All should be considered, but within a framework.
Let's examine a framework worth considering. Too Much Grace! - by Creflo Dollar I remember my wife giving me a certificate to go skydiving on my 40th birthday. I thought, that’s going to be pretty neat, jumping out of a perfectly good airplane. Included in a skydiver’s equipment is one main parachute and one reserve parachute. I had the thought, what if I only had that one main chute? I began to think about how dependent I was on the second chute. Would I be able to put my full trust in just one chute? It’s a lot easier to go skydiving knowing that you have that backup chute.

Before crafting a message, clarify what the recipient should do as a result of receiving and engaging. Some might see this as a pathway to measuring success. While that's true, the more basic motivation behind this portion of the framework is this: if you can't clearly articulate what you want someone to do, be prepared for the recipient to do nothing.
