What is an Academic Peer Mentor? An Academic Peer Mentor is a junior, senior or a graduate academically advanced student who will meet with you weekly to offer you mentoring and peer advising to assist you in achieving academic success throughout the semester.

What can a mentor do for me? ·

Assist with planning weekly schedule

Help track progress in completing course assignments

·

Improve time management skills

·

Improve with study skills

·

Assist in advising and registration

·

Help you understand you options for major/minor

·

Assist with getting tutoring when needed

·

Refer to appropriate campus resources as needed
