THINGS TO REMEMBER Available - All recreation facilities and programs are open and available to all students, staff, and faculty. Free - All programs and services are free at Keuka. ID Card - Anytime you enter the Weed, please be sure to swipe your Keuka ID card at the front desk. Clean Shoes - Please change into a clean and dry pair of sneakers before entering the cardio room or weight room – this helps keep our equipment clean and long-lasting. Early Bird - All equipment and facilities, when available, are accessed on a first come, first serve basis. Safety – When exercising on your own, please be safe. We strongly encourage you workout with a partner when in the weight room.
WAYS TO LEARN MORE Fliers - Campus Rec posts upcoming event fliers in each residence hall, Dahlstrom, and the Weed. You’ll also notice info on the digital screens located around campus. E-mail - Look for e-mails regarding registration instructions and deadlines for upcoming events. FITNESS REWARDS PROGRAM SEPTEMBER 1 – DECEMBER 5 Get rewarded for exercising with our StormFit rewards program. YAY!! FREE STUFF!!! All you need to do is SWIPE your Keuka ID Card at the Weed Front Desk every time you come to participate in any of these programs or facilities: Group Exercise classes (ex. Zumba®) Weight room and/or cardio room Intramural games or events Open recreation in the Weed (i.e. open gym basketball, sprints/plyometrics in gym, etc.) Running/walking outdoors REWARDS When you reach 30 visits in a semester, you’ll be entered into a raffle for an Android Tablet! At 45 visits you’ll earn your choice of workout gear – t-shirt, water bottle, or drawstring gym bag. Prize winners will be notified via e-mail.

NEW! CAMPUS CUP Teams accumulate points throughout the year based on their team success, sportsmanship, and contribution to the fun and exciting atmosphere of the intramural program. All you need to do is register with the same team name in all leagues/events available on imleagues.com/keuka. Individual and small team competitions will not count towards the Campus Cup (e.g. badminton, Kan-Jam, 3-on-3 Basketball, etc.).
On select Sundays in the Fall, we will be hosting a variety of one-day, drop-in activities. Just stop by and we’ll put you on a team – no need to register! ACTIVITY

Programs can be held in a classroom, residence hall, gymnasium, campus lawn, the waterfront, or at Keuka’s Challenge Ropes Course! ACADEMIC SUPPLEMENTATION – For professors looking to spice up their class with a personalized adventure that will help students make meaningful connections between classroom learning and real-world interactions. TEAM/GROUP BONDING & DEVELOPMENT – Go through a series of fun games, low and high ropes course elements, and ground initiatives – all with the specific goal of group growth. Great for leadership development, enhanced communication, greater respect and unity – all while having fun! TRAININGS/SEMINARS – Learn how to lead groups, enhance your presentations or meetings, manage conflict, administer a program, and become an Adventure Facilitator! NIGHT CLIMBING – Come get decked out in glow stick and headlamps and climb our high elements under the stars and moon. THE “GUANTLET” – Challenge the entire course for adventure glory! You’ll be tasked with completing our vertical climb, a swinging element, and a seven-part low element. Finish fast enough and you’ll win a prize and make it to our leaderboards!

TEAMS AND TRYOUT INFO EQUESTRIAN TEAM We have both recreational riders and competitive riders. Recreational riders utilize a barn less than 2 miles from campus, while competition riders utilize a state-of-the-art facility only 8 miles from campus. BODY COMPOSITION TESTING Wonder what your body fat percentage is and how much lean mass you have? Find out with our body composition testing. Our experienced staff will test your body fat percentage and give you the data you need to take the next step to a healthier you!

CONCESSIONS – ATHLETIC CONTESTS Student clubs and campus departments are welcome and encouraged to run a fundraising event at any of our home athletic contests. Interested groups should make their reservation through our online event management system at ems.keuka.edu/virtualems. Select the Athletic Pavilion (outdoor contests) or Weed Lobby (indoor contests) on the date and timeframe of the game(s) you’d like and you’ll be contacted with additional info.
LOST & FOUND Got so involved in your dodgeball game that you forgot to take your backpack with you on your way home? Just stop by the front desk and let the attendant know. We keep all lost and found items handy so they can be returned to their owners.
LOCKERS Lockers are available to rent for $10/year. Stop in to see Jon Accardi if you’d like to arrange for a lock and locker.

PARTY IN THE PARK We’ll have food, prizes, games, boating, inflatable slip n’ slide, music, and entertainment all day long! Be sure to sign-up beforehand for the Kan-Jam tournament. Campus Rec will have a table set up outside, so stop by and signup for a program or ask our staff questions to learn more! When: August 31 @ Noon Where: Chapel Lawn HARVEST BOWL - FLAG FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT PRESENTED BY MARK’S PIZZERIA This high-energy tournament will be the capstone of the Harvest Festival celebration! When: November 17 @ 11am Where: Chapel Lawn 7TH ANNUAL ASHLEY VALENTINE DODGEBALL TOURNAMENT The tournament wraps up our intramural dodgeball league. GLO-KICKBALL & NIGHT CLIMBING Get decked out in glow-in-the-dark paint, head lamps, and glow sticks for an amazing time with friends and family! You’ll have the chance to compete in a "fierce" game of kickball or monkey around on the high elements of the ropes course under the moon and stars! When: September 20 @ 7:30pm Where: Ropes Course Entrance SHIVELY CUP – BOATING RACES Our annual boating races take place during Family Weekend.
