Links to the pages of the magazine. This saves on paper and saves on production costs. This would also be keeping up the modern times, as dubstep music relies on technology to be produced.
Although this magazine relies heavily on images, it does contain quite a bit of text, with unconventional layouts. There is plenty of colour, although the fonts stay mostly the same on the same page in order not to look to over‐crowded. There are plenty of graphics and background changes to keep it looking busy, which is what the young audience wants. This genre of music is associated with raves etc, so colour is essential to draw in an audience, as they will be used to colour. The cover is also in graffiti style, which would fit into the lifestyle of the audience, as they are associated with the dub/grime lifestyle. This magazine is based online, which is an idea I will use. Its navigation is also easy to use and modern, which is another idea I will use. This magazine is no longer running, due to lack of funds, so I will need to consider advertising space and a distributer in order to maintain funds. They include articles not only on music, but on art and clothing, showing that this magazine is about the lifestyle associated with dub youth culture. I will also include different elements in my magazine, as well as competitions to draw in an audience.
