HELLO SPRING! Welcome back to wink.

Spring is here, and with it brings a refreshing lineup of exciting new products and projects ahead. We can’t wait to share with you what we’ve been up to!

In the second edition of wink, we define those trendy words all the cool kids are saying these days (…aka cracking the code of millennial slang), give you a peek at what it takes to be an eyewear designer, and of course, share some of the notable SS18 trends (hint: you’ll think you’re having déjà vu)! So without further ado…

WHAT'S NEW WITH ZAC POSEN WE’RE SWITCHING THINGS UP IN 2018. HOW, YOU ASK? WE’VE DECIDED TO HIGHLIGHT ONE OF OUR BRANDS EACH QUARTER, PUTTING A GREATER EMPHASIS ON THE COLLECTIONS AS A WHOLE, WHILE FOCUSING ON A FEW STYLES THAT REALLY SPEAK TO THE BRAND.

WHAT BETTER WAY TO START THAN FOCUSING ON OUR MOST FASHIONFORWARD COLLECTION? ´´ Women’s styles combine chic, feminine eye shapes with dramatic gestures and fine materials to enhance the natural beauty of a woman’s face. ´´ Men’s styles use distinctive, masculine shapes and classic European acetates, rich metals and signature hardware. ´´ The collection evokes the true

Minty Melon Ice RECREATE THIS DECADENT RECIPE FROM ZAC POSEN HIMSELF. WHAT CAN'T HE DO?

“In New York City, an Italian ice is called an icy... Mint and honeydew are incredibly refreshing and instantly translate into something chic and elegant. Plus, since the ice is dairy-free and fat-free, it’s easy to serve to friends with dietary restrictions... You can always serve it in the style of Italian lemon sorbet, too: piled high into a frozen lemon half. It's also delicious made with some tequila or Prosecco instead of water.” Here's what you’ll need: ´´ 1 cup granulated sugar ´´ 4 sprigs fresh mint, plus 8 small sprigs for serving ´´ 6 cups frozen 1" honeydew melon cubes

Here's what to do: 1. Bring the sugar and 1/2 cup of water to a boil in a small saucepan, stirring often. Boil until the sugar dissolves, 2 to 3 minutes. Add the mint, cover the pan, and set aside to cool, at least 10 minutes. Remove and discard the mint and add 1 cup of cold water to the mint syrup. 2. Add the melon and mint syrup to a blender and puree until thick and slushy. Divide among eight small dessert glasses and serve garnished with a mint sprig and a spoon or a straw.
