The Earth has many different environments with varying climatic conditions populated by animals of different sizes, shapes and forms that live and create their own complex communities. However, in order for them to carry on their existence they all have to reproduce. This is one of the most characteristic features of all living things. By being able to reproduce, animals, as well as, all other living organisms can be sure that there is another individual of its own kind to take its place when it dies. Without reproduction, life would not exist and all animals would vanish for good from the face of Earth. Thus, all animals have offspring which over time grow up to become adult animals. Now, most animals are known by their adult name so in this lesson, we will be looking on some common adult animal names and their young ones.
