David McCullough was born on July 7, 1933. David McCullough is still alive today.

Many of his writings have been based off actual events in the world. Most of his literary work is done on past events or people that impacted America greatly. He has lived though a few of them such as Truman’s presidency and Theodore’s live which helped him write the book Truman and Mornings On Horseback.
