These expressionist paintings concentrate on expressing emotion, representing feelings and moods rather than objective reality, often distorting color and form to tell a story. Paintings by Paul Honatke and ceramics sculpture by Michele Fisher. July 12-August 29: “Equestrian Excellence” Reception 6-8 p.m., Friday, July 12 Horses and western scenes in both paintings and sculpture are featured in this exhibit with oils and bronzes by revered artist Keith Christie and watercolors by Kara Castro. About the Gallery: This exciting professional gallery is free and open to all ages. The exhibits showcase art by regional and national artists, area museum collections, and traveling exhibitions. The Gallery at 48 Natoma offers high quality, original art exhibits to our community that we otherwise might not have an opportunity to experience. The public is also invited to attend great opening night receptions held the first Friday of each exhibit. MovieWorkz! Filmmaking Camp with Creative Brain Learning This camp is a unique opportunity for students to experience the entire movie-making production process from script to finished video.
