ABOUT EAST COBB, GA BIG HEART, SMALL TOWN East Cobb is a community of over 170,000 residents, located within Cobb County just northwest of Atlanta. The residents of East Cobb typically have a Marietta address, but they are not within the boundary of the City of Marietta. East Cobb is an unincorporated area that is administered by the Cobb County Government. While it is not East Cobb, GA, it is referred to as East Cobb. In 2016, East Cobb was named the best place to live in Georgia by Money Magazine. East Cobb is a family friendly neighborhood that values the wholesomeness of family activities and community events. East Cobb is full of fun for the whole family with golf courses, sports fields, shopping, parks, trails, and more! If you’re looking for a family friendly neighborhood that offers a high quality of life for people of all ages, you can’t go wrong when you choose East Cobb. The area referred to as East Cobb is very large. If it was a city, it would be larger than any city in the metro area except the city of Atlanta. East Cobb is bordered by Cherokee County to the north, interstates I-75 and I-575, and the City of Marietta to the west and southwest, the Chattahoochee River to the southeast, and Fulton County to the east.

THINGS TO DO IN & AROUND EAST COBB SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE PARKS + RECREATION: East Cobb is home to numerous public parks with hundreds of acres of land and uses ranging from ball fields and playgrounds to nature preserves and even off-leash dog parks. Parks are generally free to use and open to the public from dusk to dawn. East Cobb is home to several parks including East Cobb Park, Mabry Park, Hyde Farm, Bells Ferry Park, Fullers Park, Harrison Park, Sweat Mountain Park, Mount Bethel Park, Sandy Plains Park, Bells Ferry Park, Sewell Park, Shaw Park, Terrell Mill Park, Wright Environmental Education Center, and Cochran Shoals. Notable parks close to East Cobb include Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park, Chattahoochee River National Recreation Area, the Chattahoochee Nature Center, Vickery Creek Falls Roswell Mill, and Morgan Falls Overlook Park.

SHOPPING Paper Mill Village, The Avenues East Cobb, Merchant’s Walk, Highland Plaza, Sandy Plains Center, Market Plaza Shopping Center, Parkaire Landing, Shallowford Falls Shopping Center, Woodlawn Square, and Woodlawn Point. Some nearby malls include Perimeter Point, Lenox Mall, Phipps Plaza, Town Center at Cobb, North Point Mall, and the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta.

RESTAURANTS You’ll never run out of places to find great eats in East Cobb. There are a wide range of cuisines located in each of the shopping centers listed above. Paper Mill Village hosts several restaurants and bars, shops, and our office!

HOW TO GET TO HARTSFIELD ATLANTA

To access the domestic terminal by car, follow Interstates 85 or 285 and exit onto a network of roads that lead to the North and South Domestic Terminals, baggage claim and airport parking. The airport is the final stop on MARTA's Gold and Red lines.
