Thousands on campus for first-ever Bruin Boo! KCC’s first-ever Bruin Boo! event for families drew more than 2,000 community members to the College’s North Avenue campus in Battle Creek on Oct. 27, filling the walkway, Student Center, Kellogg Room and Binda Lobby to capacity with kids excited to collect candy and play games. The event’s success was due in large part to the many KCC volunteers who participated, including dozens of KCC students, employees, administrative staff and board members who volunteered to run candy stations, oversee games and activities like pumpkin carving and cookie decorating, pass out bags, work crowd control and more.
