TALON TALK! NEWS FOR THE WEEK OF MAY 31st Congratulations to Milford High School’s class of 2011. Commencement will be held on Friday, May 27, at the Cintas Center. The class of 2011 has 424 graduates. Valedictorian-Margaret Craycraft Margaret will be attending Princeton University to study visual arts with a concentration in photography. She is the all-time best diver in school history, three-time FAVC dive champion, and won seventh place in the Ohio state championship finals this year. She will be diving at Princeton. Salutatorians- Jacob Harrington and Alyssa Keil Both Jacob and Alyssa will be attending The Ohio State University. By The Numbers-Class of 2011 88% of the graduates are entering college or other post-graduate programs, 6% will be entering the military, and 7% will be entering the workforce. 23 students will continue to participate in college athletics and have been awarded partial or full academic or athletic scholarships. $7,083,790 in scholarships were offered to the class (an increase of over $2 million from last year's class)

8th Grade Academic Awards will be held on Monday, June 6th @ 1pm in the MJHS Gym. 7th Grade Academic Awards will be held on Tuesday, June 7th @ 1pm. These awards ceremonies are by invitation only. Invitations were mailed the week of May 23rd. A reminder that all book fines/fees are due on or before June 7th. Any fines or fees not paid will be carried over on your child’s school fees account. The last day of school is Tuesday, June 7th! Information on VB camp, Football camp and Water Polo can be found in the main office.
Looking for WII remotes! Please donate used or new WII remotes to the main office. Teachers are using them to create interactive WHITE BOARDS!
Attention 8 grade parents: If you would like to get involved with the High School PTSA, they would be very happy to talk with you and have you join their efforts in supporting the students and staff. They meet the 3rd Tuesday of every month.
