The Faces of Hunger
by Don Lanier
The faces of hunger are always hard to look at. This woman was looking after her grandchildren one day in Vietnam as I walked by with my camera. Alice Jane and I were visiting our son and his wife in that land filled with heartbreaking poverty.
Luncheon Served On October 7th, there will be a luncheon served directly after worship. The luncheon is for everyone but especially to energize the members and friends who will be walking in Tulsa for the CROP Walk for Hunger. Please join everyone in the Fellowship Hall after worship for a time to relax and refuel before the CROP Walk! Bethany’s goal is to raise $1,000. The last day to donate is October 7th.
