Count your Blessings: Name them One-by-One Disciples Women are given the opportunity to recognize and give thanks for the blessings that we receive each year by keeping a Blessing Box. Blessings are counted by putting coins into the box, and this year we are inviting others in the congregation to join in the celebration of God’s blessings. We have placed blessing box containers on the table outside the sanctuary and the table in fellowship hall so that others might count their blessings as well. Monies from these offerings, which support

Disciples Mission Fund, will be dedicated at the women’s

June 20, 2012 - Disciple Minister’s Association meeting at Bethany Christian Church in Tulsa. Fellowship begins at 10:30 with our program at 11:00. Ann Patton, the author of Dan’s War on Poverty will be our guest speaker. This is a fantastic opportunity to learn about the beginning of Neighbor for Neighbor in the Tulsa area. You might read the book before the meeting. I am reading it and it has taught me many things that happened in Tulsa which I did not know (I grew up here). You can order it from Amazon and it will ship from Tulsa. From Rev. Leslie Dotson, Area Minister

PRIDE PARADE On Saturday, June 2, Bethany offered hospitality to attendees at the PRIDE fest in downtown Tulsa. We shared water with the many dogs, sunscreen with attendees and candy. We also had fliers for the summer sermon series and worship time at Bethany. Following after Jesus' footsteps, we went out to where the people are and had a great time. Thanks to Rev. Kelli Driscoll, Nick Crews, Judy and Loren Krase, Jennae Mullins, Peg Livingston, Ranae Hopf for letting people know about Bethany!
