Kw Metro Center Alexandria New Agent Onboarding Checklist

Step 1: Complete and return the New Agent Paperwork Packet via Docusign.

Step 2: Complete your New License Application for the state in which you passed your real estate exam

VA - DPOR: Your ASC will send you your application via Docusign and send it to DPOR on your behalf; Make sure to read thoroughly and make sure all checkboxes are selected

MD -DLLR: You can apply for a new license application via the online portal by following this link: https://www dllr state md us/license/mrec/mrecapply shtml

DC - DCRA: You can apply for your new license application via the online portal by following this link: https://dcra.dc.gov/real-estate

Step 3: Once you receive confirmation of your approved license application, you will identify with a regional real estate board in the state where you will do the majority of your business You will receive an email alerting you when your license has arrived at our brokerage as well as an application for either board below:

VA - Northern Virginia Association of Realtors (NVAR)

MD + DC - Greater Capital Area Association of Realtors (GCAAR)

CLICK HERE TO REGISTER WITH GCAAR

Please go to www BrightMLS com and select ‘Join’

Under ‘New or Returning Associate Brokers & Agents’ click ‘Join/Reactivate’

You will need to enter your License Number, Expiration Date, State, and License Type, which is

Enter in our Broker Code, which is KWR19

Step 4: Become affiliated with Bright MLS Salesperson, and NRDS #/ID, this is your NVAR member # (or whichever Association of Realtors you have associated with, if you are already licensed in DC/MD) payment

Once you have completed the application it will be emailed to our Broker for approval

You will receive a confirmation email from Bright, please forward it to your Agent Services Coordinator Once the Broker signs you will get an email and can then make

Please email your MLS # to your ASC

Once we have your MLS # in our system we can then complete your website setup
