Concept {Immerse in the Atmosphere}

Imagine being under the water and all the sounds from your stressful day disappear. You see the natural light dance across the walls and you feel at peace. You decide to make your way out of the water, all the sounds come back and you hear the water leave your ears. You open your eyes and see a beautiful courtyard with a fountain letting out calming water sounds. Immersion is designed to take the viewers through their own peaceful experiences using the water and nature so they can achieve mindfulness.

Project Summary {2017} The objective of this project was to design a booth that was approximately 300 square feet. Our booth needed to be inviting and visually attractive, that emphasizes the IWBI brand as the International WELL Building Institute. The booth needed to function as a stand out exhibition explaining who IWBI is, what IWBI represents globally, and why working with the IWBI is the future of wellbeing and the built environment.

Combine Parti

Collaborative Concept Design My team wanted to bring the bond between the people and the built environment, the progression of the company and the pellucid style of WELLs logo to help tie together everything in a successful booth that would help display the WELL belief. We came to many ideas and as we developed more our ideas change dramatically. With a ton of trace paper we came up with this idea with overlapping roofs to create a more eye catching environment and the transparent wall to make viewers wanna see more of the inside.

The Solution The curve walls are a representation of the overlapping in the WELL logo. There is additional separation of space within the boundaries of the booth, creating an area for informal information gathering and an area allowing a more private one on ones. The wall diving the two areas is conceptually based but also provides a window in to the next space, creating the sense of openness given by the use of transparent materials.

Concept

The journey within is designed to take the viewers through the journey that Japan has taken throughout the years. From the tradition past, to the intertwining present to the illcecbrous future of Japan. The goal of this design is to show the intertwining of nature and technology seen by the bright colors and the biophillic elements. The future is represented in the feelings the viewers get when they walk through the space.

Relaxing Mezzanine

Design Solution This design has curving paths with a surprise around every corner. The biophillic design help the employees step away form their stressful and technoloy based life. The collaboration areas are designed to fit the need of the users and allow for more creativity and innovations. The walls were designed to be personalized by the employees so they have more of a connection with the space they work in for 8 or more hours a day.
