Letter from the Editor My name is Kimberly Fitzpatrick, Editor of Keeping the Faith. My hope for this magazine is to emphasize the importance of keeping one’s faith both throughout college and after college. College is that time of life where students are meeting people, figuring out their life, and trying to have fun. Graduating from college is when life becomes more difficult and we enter the life of jobs, bills, dating, and marriage. It is during these times of our lives when many fade from practicing their faith and focus only on the worldly aspects of life. Romans 12:2 and also restated in Gaudium et Spes, says, “Do not conform any longer to the patterns of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is- His good, pleasing, and perfect will.” It is important that we do not conform to the world, but rather focus our minds on living a life that focuses first on our faith and then the other aspects of our life. In doing this, God will give us the answers to the questions that we have in life. I anticipate that this magazine will make some impact on all of you readers, whether it be big or small. Life can bring us in unwanted directions at times, and therefore, it is important that we all keep the faith.
