Learning Disabilities Services Newsletter We hope you are keeping safe and well during this difficult time.

Due to the coronavirus we have had to cancel all our face-to-face sessions.

But we are working hard to carry on supporting as many people as we can.

BIG Group Knowsley Online The BIG Group has set up a Facebook page.

We have activities everyday from Monday to Friday on Zoom.

The activities we have done include quizzes, bingo, arts & crafts, reading group, breakfast club and many more.

To join, just search “BIG Group Online Knowsley” on Facebook, and click the join group button.

Danny’s Stories The BIG Group Knowsley Online offer a reading group on Zoom, every week on a Friday afternoon. We have read two books so far:  Framed by Frank Cottrell Boyce  The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time by Mark Haddon

In between chapters, we stop to chat about what has happened so far.

Keeping in touch & Making new friends We have joined in with the Zoom activities of other groups in the North West, and made new friends.

We have joined in with Pathway’s coffee and chat sessions on Thursdays

We join the Merseysigners sing and sign sessions on Wednesday evenings.

We join in with different Meet ‘N’ Match activities, such as:  Karaoke  Coffee and a chat  LGBT+ groups  Zumba
