speakers Mr Maurice Arbuthnott Maurice Arbuthnott graduated in music and worked in the private sector before being diagnosed with schizophrenia. He is a service user representative for his London locality and for the RCPsych’s Faculty of Rehabilitative and Social Psychiatry Executive Committee. He is a current member of Rethink’s Service and Resources Committee. Apart from mental health, his main interest remains music composition. He has recently completed works for flute and piano, guitar, songs and a requiem setting.
Professor Ed Bullmore Professor Ed Bullmore is an academic psychiatrist who’s deeply committed to bringing better, faster drugs to patients by forging working alliances across the public/ private sector. It is the integration of his academic, NHS and research posts with his role leading one of GlaxoSmithKline’s clinical research teams that offers ground breaking potential to revolutionise NHS input into drug development, and transform patient outcomes.
Dr Matt Goldenberg Matthew Goldenberg, M.D., is an academic psychiatrist from the United States. He attended medical school at Yale then did his psychiatric training at the University of North Carolina. He has since worked on the faculty as the director of medical student clinical education at two American medical schools. He lives in London whilst completing an MSc in Global Mental Health.
Professor Neil Greenberg Surgeon Captain Neil Greenberg is an academic psychiatrist based at King’s College London. During his time with the Royal Marines he earned the coveted Green Beret. He has served in a number of hostile environments and provided psychological support to foreign office and emergency services staff following events such as 9/11. He has published widely on military health and advises the Armed Forces and UK government on mental health issues.
