Tom Watson Born on September 4th 1949Pembroke Country Day, 1967 Stamford, 1971

Inducted into numerous Halls of Fame for his exceptional record as a professional golfer (eight major victories, 70 professional titles, four-time Ryder Cup Team member -- twice Captain, six Champions Tour majors), his four Missouri Amateur Championships and the 1964 and '67 Kansas City Match Play titles, Kansas Citians know Tom Watson as much for his humanitarian works as his outstanding performance on the course. For his efforts on behalf of Children's Mercy Hospital, The First Tee of Greater Kansas City, Wounded Warriors and ALS research among other worthy causes, in addition to his record as a course designer and player, the Hall of Fame Committee is proud to nominate Tom Watson for induction into the Kansas City Golf Hall of Fame.
