This session will provide a focus on the role of the music publisher and just as important the copyright issues surrounding the participants’ compositions(s) and will be facilitated by Jacqui Norton (Director) http://www.parkstmusic.com, who has a professional background in music publishing, copyright and practical experience in lecturing at various universities and facilitating workshops of this kind to young people, vulnerable prisoners and young offenders. Each participant will receive an educational folder which will contain music industry information. This project will be a valuable contribution to people who are socially excluded and will aim to enhance, expand and utilise existing skills and introduce them to networking opportunities.
