EMPLOYER BRANDING WORKSHOP SUCCESS STORY


CAREERS PAGE CREATION As a long-standing company who specialise in providing software solutions for the social housing sector, it is crucial for Housing Partners to find employees both unmatched in skill and passionate about assisting other people. Following their attendance of one of our employer branding workshops centered on the topic of the attraction, growth and retention of expertise within the workplace, Housing Partners decided to create an ‘About Us’ page for their website to help prospective talent discover more about their company and to help them discover whether their vision and values will perfectly align with that of the company. We feel that it is a brilliant reflection of their business!


THE CHALLENGE Housing Partners were looking to create from scratch an ‘About Us’ page that encapsulated their vision, story and values to attract new talent whilst showcasing their current team to their audience and prospective clientele. They wanted to boost their talent acquisition and utilise employer branding to ensure that their website gives an insight to their business and to enhance their candidate experience.


THE SOLUTION Housing Partners joined us on one of our Retain & Recruit workshops to learn more about employee branding. Following the session, they were inspired to create a brand new Careers page for their website from scratch! By looking at the screenshots taken from their newly created page, we can see that Housing Partners have truly showcased their employee culture and have given potential employees an honest insight into their business. They ask the question ‘Why choose us?’ and list the benefits of being a valued part of their company. In addition to this, they make it very clear that their team is their “most valuable asset” and by allowing prospective candidates to send in their details at any point by using the ‘Contact Us’ form, they are consistently ensuring that the door is open to new talent that may have instead joined their competitors.


THE OUTCOME With the addition of a Careers/About Us page to their website, Housing Partners have now ensured that not only can they let their fantastic culture speak for itself through testimonials taken directly from team members about their role within the business, but also that their vision and story is front and center, ensuring only like-minded individuals apply. •
