MAKING YOUR SUMMER A LITTLE

objectives: increase traffic and create a more engaged (online) community. This would also be used as a test to see how effective marketing is, or can be, within the social media channels. theme: “Summer FUN” idea #1: this concept initially came about with the idea to drive traffic into the branches with various rerwards, which the customer would receive after talking to a banker about product x. For example: “We want to be the whip in your latte.” (Customer to receive coffee card) “We want to be the ping to your pong.” (Customer to receive ping pong gear)

idea #2: the concept evolved into a photo contest, which would engage the customers online AND drive traffic into branches. Each week we will ask customers to stop by a branch to pick up their promotional item (e.g. sunglasses, beach towel, beach ball, etc.). The customer would be asked to take a photo of themselves with the item, post it online and tag WTB. Each week we choose the winning photo and give the winner something to “make their summer a little sweeter.” possible prizes: $100 giftcards, mini ipads, etc.


We plan to promote the weekly contests on our Facebook page, with it’s own special tab.

We can also blast it on our twitter feed, in hopes that lots more peeps will see it.
