He lost his father at a young age when Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Sahib sacrificed himself for the betterment of the Humanity. Dasam Guru Sahib, in a short span, lost his palace, saw 2 of his sons die in a battlefield, got separated from younger 2 who were bricked alive by the Mughals. Regardless of all the personal tragedies and losses, Guru Sahib was always connected with Waheguru ji. Imagine HIS Amazing State of Mind when He wrote the shabad ‘Mitr Pyaare Nu Haal Mureedaan Da Kehna.’

• Khalsa is a state of mind that needs to be achieved. Khalsa is a journey that we all need to work towards and the first step in that direction is keeping the form, getting baptized and doing our Paath (as much as one can) and once that process starts, our purity process will start too. Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji put the Khalsa on a very special platform… praising them as a very special form of His own. While Guru Sahib put the Khalsa on a platform and promised to give all His energy, He also very clearly stated that if one goes away from the path, He will not support them.
