13 September 2010 Dear ISEFP students, International Science and Engineering Foundation Programme (ISEFP) I hope you are well and that you are busy preparing for your trip to London and the forthcoming academic year at Queen Mary. This letter is to provide you with information about the first week of the programme, what will happen and what you need to bring with you. All students are required to attend the International Students Welcome Programme, starting on th Monday 20 September 2010. Please come to the Francis Bancroft reception at 09:00 on Monday morning. th

On Monday 20 September I will meet you and we will discuss the ISEFP in more detail. On nd Wednesday 22 September you will have the opportunity to pay your tuition fees. To enrol (and get your student card) you will be required to pay at least 50% of your tuition fees. If you are already in th London during the week beginning Monday 13 September, you are strongly advised to pay your fees at the Cashier’s desk on the first floor of the Queens’ Building. The Cashiers Office will be open from 09.30 to 16.00pm. You will need your student number (the number beginning with 10 on all letters from Queen Mary) and your passport. rd

On Thursday 23 September you will need to bring the following documents with you to enrol: •

Your passport

Original copy of your high school certificate with a certified English translation

Original copy of your English language qualifications (e.g. IELTS, TOEFL or WELT)

Receipt for any tuition fee payments

If you do not have all of the above documents you will not be able to enrol and get your student card rd on the afternoon of Thursday 23 September. th
