Celebrating

30 Years in Reston! Clark Financial Solutions In 1987, after 12 years working for others, Reston resident, Rick Clark founded his wealth management firm, Clark Financial, in the basement of the family home. Rick has lived in Reston since 1982. His children, Carrie, RJ, and Megan were born and raised here.

Rick started Clark Financial because he wanted to ensure that the lives he touched locally were given the best opportunities for financial success. Clark Financial now serves about 650 families. Clark’s office is currently located on a historical property in Reston that was completed for Dr. Wiehle in 1902, a historic gem in the heart of Reston on Old Reston Avenue. At 67, Rick maintains a key role in the business, however, he has transferred operations of the company over to his daughter, Megan to allow more time to spend with family and friends, Megan, a Herndon High School and UVA grad has 10 years financial planning and management experience. She has worked in her father’s office since she was a child and like her father, takes great pride in helping fellow Restonians with their financial planning. Clark Financials’ founder, Rick Clark is a stage 4 cancer survivor of 14 years. Due to their personal experience and compassion to help others, the firm has partnered with LLS (Leukemia & Lymphoma Society) to help raise the funds necessary to help find a cure. Each year the team participates in the Light the Night Walk at Reston Town Center in October, and hosts several fundraisers throughout the year in hopes to help eradicate cancer as we know it. Clark Financial is a 30 year Reston business and gives back to the community. They are partnered with many local organizations and have been involved members of the Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce for 10 years. They are active at Chamber charitable events, volunteer with Cornerstones and Embry Rucker shelter, and support local kid’s sports teams. Rick Clark and his team believe that through giving back we all benefit. Karma exists, and it’s what you do when no one is watching that truly defines who we are; as people, and in business. 68
