.NEWS RELEASE. TORONTO INTERNATIONAL FILM FESTIVAL ANNOUNCES FESTIVAL BOX OFFICE LOCATION, NEW PACKAGES AND TICKET SELECTION PROCESS Toronto – TIFF today announced the 2012 Toronto International Film Festival ticket packages, Festival Box Office location and new selection process for My Choice ticket packages. "Our audience is the heart of the Festival,” said Cameron Bailey, Artistic Director, Toronto International Film Festival. “We listened to them. As a result, we've added new ticket packages and taken the selection process online to reduce lineups and allow for more flexibility and an overall better experience for the festivalgoer.” New ticket packages for 2012 include the customizable Flex Pack, which allows buyers to select the number of tickets they’re purchasing. For audiences looking for a red carpet experience, the Festival presents the 6 Premium Ticket Pack and the Premium Sampler. New this year, the film selection process for My Choice ticket packages will be moving online. Customers can skip the lineup and make their film selections online at tiff.net. For the first time, package buyers will be able to purchase up to four tickets per screening, per membership or account. The 2012 Festival Box Office will be located at Metro Centre (225 King St. West) and opens August 21. The 37th Toronto International Film Festival runs from September 6 to 16, 2012. NEW TICKET PACKAGES 6 Premium Ticket Pack This new package rolls out the red carpet for film lovers with six tickets to premium screenings (up to four tickets per screening). Flex Packs Ticket buyers can customize their ticket package — choosing anywhere from 20 to 100 tickets in increments of 10. Premium Sampler Selected by Festival programmers, this package includes three premium screenings at any of our red carpet venues. Contemporary World Cinema Selected by Festival programmers, this package features five films from the Festival’s Contemporary World Cinema programme — the destination for compelling stories and global perspectives.
