Hello, Georgia Collegiate 4-H’ers! Thank you for taking an interest in helping us as we prepare for the National Collegiate 4H Conference to be held by the State of Georgia Collegiate 4-H Club in Atlanta, GA, April 14-17, 2011. We are so excited about everything we’ve already got going on to make this  conference a huge success, but, to truly make it a successful conference, we need YOUR help. Our conference is going to have a Financial Literacy focus as we utilize the “Your Money,  Your Future” curriculum across the state of Georgia until the actual conference. Then, at the conference next April, we will train Collegiate 4-H’ers from across the country on this  program so they can go back to their states and share it with kids from all over the U.S.! Doing this can spread some money savviness across our nation and in these economic times, it’s more important than ever! So, where do you come into play with all of this? Well, first of all, for the conference itself, we’ll need your help with registration, organizing, and running the workshops, tours, service project, trip to Rock Eagle, and much, much more! Also, we want to have a large representation from Georgia at our conference since we are the ones hosting it. We also need your help to use the “Your Money, Your Future” program in your hometowns or  college towns so that youth across Georgia experience it first. Then at the conference, you will train the other Collegiate 4-H’ers on how to use it in their states. To get us together to make our dream a reality, we are planning a State of Georgia Collegiate 4-H Meeting to plan our conference. We will train you guys on the program, delegate responsibilities related to the conference, and have fun at the same time!  It’s  only $25 to reserve your spot, and that money can then be deducted from your 2011 Conference registration, so that you can come to the National Collegiate 4-H Conference for a cheaper fee for helping us, and, in the end, get to come to this state meeting for free! All we expect from you is a real, genuine commitment to the implementation of this curriculum in Georgia, to planning the conference, and to actually attending the conference! (It’s almost a year away, so you can start saving now so you can attend!). We want this to be Georgia’s conference, and we need you in order to make that happen; so come to the state meeting, help us make this AMAZING, and come to the National Conference as well! Best Regards,

Heather L. Williams  2011 National Collegiate 4-H Conference Chair
