Billing & Payment options for your convience The Town of Coaldale offers residents options for billing and payment procedures to save you time and ensure you never miss a utility payment. With E-Bill, residents can receive their bills in a timely manner rather than by traditional mail delivery. Sending bills electronically is also more environmentally responsible as it doesn’t generate any actual paper billing. Not only does E-Bill save time and reduce handling and mailing costs it also gives residents the convenience of being able to access their town bill anywhere they can access their email. Residents can also sign up for pre-authorized debit. You receive your bill at the beginning of the month and that amount is automatically taken out of your account on the last business day of the month. Included with the E-Bill is the Town’s monthly newsletter, Coaldale Connection. You can also register online with your bank to pay your town bill online. If you would like to sign up to receive an E-Bill or for Pre-Authorized Debit, please contact Taryn in our utilities department at 403-345-1318.

TIPP spreads tax payments over 12 months Our TIPP program allows you to make monthly payments from January to December each year. This program is a great way to budget and a convenient and reliable way of ensuring that your tax bill is paid. The town does not charge any administrative fees or penalties provided that your monthly payments are made. If you are interested in enrolling in the program, application forms are available on our website at www.coaldale.ca or at the town office. Contact Kyley in our tax department at 403-345-1317 for more information. If you wish to enroll please sign up prior to December 31, 2018. You can start making monthly payments in January for the 2019 taxation year.

Spring Clean-up The Town uses a coupon voucher system to help offset the cost to dispose of additional waste. Landfill coupons/tokens are used to cover the City of Lethbridge’s disposal fees. These coupons can be used by residents to dispose of additional waste that typically follows spring clean-up, household renovations and other “deep cleans.” The goal of this program is to make spring cleanup and other residential maintenance more convenient and affordable for residents. Additionally, the coupon service can be utilized year round, so home renovations do not have to coincide with an annual, and at times unpredictable, clean-up schedule. For more information on the program go to the Town’s website at coaldale.ca or http://www. coaldale.ca/services/utilities-and-services/
