Following the seasons and topographies as his muse, pianist George Winston is a master and player of a variety of styles from R&B to melodic to stride piano. New Orleans’ blues guitar man Anders Osborne ranges from electric mayhem to acoustic melodicism, hard-hitting rock to tender ballads. Zoso is the longest tenured, most critically acclaimed tribute band of one of the most influential musical powerhouses in rock history. Kyle Hollingsworth is the formidable keyboardist of jam masters The String Cheese Incident. He’s revered for his signature versatility, contributing songs and helping the group boldly venture through a fearless mosaic of genres. Kyle has created three SCIde projects with his band, his newest endeavors wrangling in electronic dance music, vintage funk and shades of 1980’s sythnpop. 8:00 p.m. Early Bird through 1/14: $20. FRI JAN 27 The Wailers For the first time since Bob Marley’s death, the musicians who comprised his supporting band, The Wailers, have reunited. Now steered by famed bassist and founder Aston “Family Man” Barrett, The Wailers reunion brings the revolutionary sound and message back to life. Members are: Aston “Family Man” Barrett (1970 – 1981, bass); Junior Marvin (1977 – 1981, guitar); Tyrone Downie (1974 – 1981, keys); Wya Lindo (1973 – 1981, keys); and Donald Kinsey (1975 – 1976, guitar). These old-school members welcome the new-generation talent of Aston Barrett Jr. on drums (Family Man’s son, and nephew of drummer Carlton “Carly” Barrett, Wailers cofounder 1970 – 1981) and Shema Mc Gregor on backup vocals (vocalist Judy Mowatt’s daughter, IThree original 1974 – 1981). FRI FEB 3 & SAT FEB 4 An Evening with Chris Robinson Brotherhood Psychedelic blues rock group Chris Robinson Brotherhood returns to the Center with two new albums for two nights of their freewheeling improvisational chemistry, songwriting depth, and good ole’ Saturday night boogie. TUE FEB 14 Comedy Night Come laugh it up with intelligent, thoughtprovoking standup comedy chock full of clever word play and shocking insights into current politics and culture. SAT FEB 18 Tim O’Brien Bluegrass aficionado and strings master of the guitar, fiddle, mandolin and banjo, multi Grammywinner Tim O’Brien has devoted his life to honoring and energizing old time roots music. His newest endeavors stay true with bluegrass, Appalachian and Celtic traditionals, and field hollers, while bringing in new flavors of old-school rock ‘n’ roll, traditional jazz, mandolin blues and James Brownian funk. 8:00 p.m. Early Bird through 2/11: $35. MON FEB 27 An Evening with The Brothers Comatose The southwestern-tinged, string-based Brothers Comatose return to the Center after a rowdy, sing and stomp-along Alpenglow that rocked the house.

Expansive and uplifting, Brothers Comatose’s music is not a wavering mélange of assorted styles, but decided and strong bluegrass-influenced folk rock delivered with skill, solid musicianship and a communal spirit. 8:00 p.m. Early Bird through 2/20: $15. Regular: $18.

With Special Guests Dead Horses Multi-instrumentalist quintet Elephant Revival mesmerizes with their earthy rhythms, eclectic influences, and rich instrumental brews of rootsy Americana, Celtic, gypsy and folk. Their newest endeavors explore uncharted territory, breaking sonic recipes and adventuring into a haunting, evocative and mysterious sound. Songs are stripped down and vulnerable with raw vocals and intimate instrumentation. 8:00 p.m. $35.

It’s a little raw, a bit loud, unapologetic and honest. It’s blue-collar, Carhartt-wearing, hardworking, PBR beer-drinking rock and roll and it’s something that Strange Americans are crafting with both brawn and finesse. The Colorado quintet imparts an accessible and straightforward songwriting and storytelling, sung with strong harmonies, twinged with a touch of outlaw country, and presented with reverb-drenched punch and passion. 8:00 p.m. Early Bird through 3/18: $12. THU MAR 9 Martin Sexton American singer-songwriter Martin Sexton is highly regarded as a musician’s musician. A Syracuse native, Sexton got his start singing in the streets and subways of Boston in the early 90's and is now known for his wide vocal range and fingerstyle guitar. This one-of-a-kind troubadour blends soul, gospel, country, rock, blues and R&B, causing the Los Angeles Times to label him a soul poet, folkie and rocker simultaneously. 8:00 p.m. Early Bird though 3/2: $25. CB FILM FESTIVAL

Local filmmakers Michael Brody and Mark Reeb present a searing and humorous double-feature of their most recent films. Document (Brody) is the tale of two small-town friends who escape to L.A. with dreams of making it big — only to find out there is no escaping yourself. Mad (Reeb) tells the story of a recently divorced mother committed to a mental institution — by her daughters. Q&A after each screening with both filmmakers.

THU JAN 19 & FRI JAN 20 The Eagle Huntress This spellbinding documentary follows a 13-year-old nomadic Mongolian girl as she trains to become the first female eagle hunter in twelve generations of her Kazakh family — a tradition exclusively handed down from father to son.

WE’VE BEEN WHIPPING UP a new tantalizing series of culinary classes! Some of the Gunnison Valley’s most creative chefs share their artful expertise in cooking, baking and presentation. Make your next party a pleasurable snap, or bring home creative skills for family fun in the kitchen.

SAT FEB 4 Chocolate Mousse & Champagne Make ultra-rich and dense chocolate mousse using the finest European dark, milk and white chocolates.

heather is a professional skier, a two-time National Telemark Champion and World Cup Medalist. Heather has continued her career in the ski industry working with K2 Skis and the Alliance Team designing and developing women’s products. She also serves on the Board of Directors of the Center for the Arts because she wants to help make the new building a reality. Heather, her husband, John, and their children are looking forward to enjoying more music, new classes, events and activities for families in the Center’s new home.
