Shoreline Decorating Extravaganza Presented By Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company Tuesday, December 11th Residents and businesses along the New River and Intracoastal Waterways are encouraged to decorate their properties or docks and participate in the 2012 Shoreline Decorating Extravaganza presented by Universal Property & Casualty Insurance Company. This year’s event, on December 11th, marks the official beginning of lighting up of the backdrop of our award-winning Parade. By decorating your homes, condos, businesses, gardens and even docks for the Tuesday prior to the Parade, the holidays come alive in sparkling splendor along the waterways. As an award, WSVN-Channel 7 films the best of the best in decorations. This filming is included in the upcoming Winterfest® Television Special, airing locally on WSVN 7 in primetime on December 22nd at 8p.m. Be a part of the excitement and follow by boat the Floridian Princess as she leaves the Coral Ridge Yacht Club dock with their Cruisers in tow!

judges, and VIP’s at Laura Ward Park and the Stranahan House with a special thanks to the Huizenga Family Foundation. See The Parade on TV! Special Presentations The Winterfest® Television Special will be aired locally on WSVN 7 in primetime, December 22, December 25, and January 1. YOUNG WINTERFEST® ARTISTS The Seminole Hard Rock Winterfest® Boat Parade with longtime supporter YP.com are working together to make this year’s Fantasy Boat Student Art Contest better than ever. Contest entrants (Broward County Students 3rd – 5th grade) submitted drawings of a boat they have seen or would like to see in the Parade. Winners of the contest will appear in select 2013 YP directories. All submitted artwork will be on display at ArtServe during a reception for all the participants on March 7.
