Over the last 20 years we have spread our storytelling wings across many fields to corporate clients NGOS and educational institutions around the world. • As a part of our 20th year completion, we are celebrating the Art of storytelling with year long events- special workshops, advanced diploma courses, our 100th batch of the Academy celebration, katha sangamas, publications and more. MODULE- ART OF STORYTELLING Session 1

Introductory activity on storytelling

Session 2

Art and Science of Listening and types of listening

Session 3

Key elelments of a story -textures, sounds, emotions etc.

Session 4

Essentials of Storytelling- Who , What, When, Where, and Why of Storytelling.

Session 5

Techniques of Telling- Voice kit, sounds, gestures, movement and Body language.

Session 6

Demonstration of other techniques with props like pictures puppets etc. A storytellers style


LOGISTICS REQUIRED 1. Whiteboard and marker pens. 2. Note pads, pens and pencils for each participant 3. Chart paper, sketch pens, crayons, scissors, and glue 4. Collar mike if it is a large auditorium or open space. Duration: 1 day Minimum no of participants 20 Maximum no of participants 40 PROGRAM FEE- Based on the requirement Flight charges and local airport transfer fees for one resource person along with accommodation ( preferably vegetarian) and hospitality A confirmation letter along with the details of date and 50% payment to the account mentioned in the mail

Geeta Ramanujam is a Storyteller, Academician and Trainer who wears many hats. She is the Executive Director of Kathalaya Trust- A Storytelling house established in 1998 which reaches out to schools, corporate, NGO’s with Storytelling strategies and training. She also founded the International Academy of Storytelling- The only globally recognised academy for storytelling which has certified courses in Storytelling affiliated to institutions around the world. Besides travelling, building curriculums setting up Storyspaces and organising festivals she comes up with innovative ways to spread storytelling across India and the World. She is on the board of many educational and Storytelling institutions across the globe and has trained over 85000 people in the field. She has won many accolades in the field of Storytelling
