The Jabalpur Youth Manifesto was a 10 day project involving student designers to create a visionary document that would encompass a bright envisioned future for the youth of Jabalpur. The project was six days long and was broken down into a two day design sprint and another 4 days for client corrections, additions and other minor rectifications. The team consisted of 10 student designers working in one of two teams. The first team was involved in converting and rewriting 17 pages of raw text and a data into a simplified, illustrated and yet equally informative publication, that would have to be understood by the analphabetic residents of the nearby villages, a graduate student and a high court judge. The second team was involved in producing a short documentary style film that would help the same target audience, understand the purpose behind the manifesto.
