Tom JOYNER Superbe opération pour Tom Joyner en OK à Portimao. Battu par Ben Hanley en préfinale, le Britannique a réalisé un début de finale incisif et a réussi à se mettre à l’abri de ses rivaux pour l’emporter. Le pilote Zanardi en a profité pour prendre la tête du Championnat.
Suborda operaçao para Tom Joyner em OK a Portimao. Batido por Ben Hanley em prefinale, o britanico realiso um inicio da prova final incisive e consegui a abrigarse dos seus adversarios para ganhar. O piloto Zanardi aproveitou para a cabeça do campeonato.
Brit Tom Joyner had a great weekend in Portimao. Although beaten by Ben Hanley in the pre-final, the Zanardi driver made a blinding start in the final putting him out of reach of his rivals, won the race and took the lead in the championship.

Pourtant dans le coup, le Polonais Karol Basz a vécu une finale difficile et a perdu l’occasion de décrocher un nouveau podium. Le pilote du Kosmic Racing Team a perdu la tête du Championnat en OK.
Apesar de estar na jogada, o palaco Karol Basz viveu uma prova final dificil e perdeu a ocasiao de desengatar um novo podium. O piloto do Kosmic Racing Team perdeu a cabeça do campeonato.
Karol Basz from Poland was on the pace, but he had a difficult final losing the opportunity to score another top-3 finish, which cost the Kosmic Racing team driver the lead on the OK Championship.

Varias vezes seguindas, Victor Martins teve a ocasiao d’apresentar a sua velocidade e a sua combatividade em OK-Junior. Ao Portugal, o francês do Team VDK Racing confirmo o além das suas esperanças em alcançar prefinale e a prova final !
Victor Martins has had the opportunity to show his speed and his fighting spirit on several occasions in OK-Junior. The Frenchman driving for the VDK Racing team exceeded all his aspirations by winning the pre-final and the final.

Belgian victory ! HANDSAEME Au contraire du vainqueur de la préfinale Callum Bradshaw, le Belge Xavier Handsaeme a bondi en tête au départ de la finale et a su résister au retour du Britannique qui avait chuté en 7e position. Revenu 2e, Bradshaw a toutefois augmenté son avance en tête du Trophée Académie.
Ao contrario do vincedor da prefinal Callum Bradshaw, o belgo Xavier Hansaeme lançou-se ao inicio da prova finale sobe resistir ao regresso do britanico que tinha caido em 7e posiçao. Regressindo ao 2e Bradshaw contudo aumento o seu avanço em cabeça do Trofeu Academia.
Unlike the winner of the pre-final Callum Bradshaw, Belgian Xavier Handsaeme jumped into the lead at the start of the final and was able to fight off the attacks of the British driver who latched onto his gearbox after falling back to seventh. Bradshaw’s second place helped him increase his lead in the Academy Trophy.

IMBOURG Comme à Aunay les Bois, Thomas Imbourg est allé chercher la 8e place au Trophée Académie. On sent qu’il ne lui manque pas grand chose pour intégrer le top-5. Reste une course en septembre en Suède.

As in Aunay-les-Bois Thomas Imbourg clinched another eighth place in the Academy Trophy. The overall feeling is that he lacks very little to break into the top 5.
