Kindergarten - primary school building was proposed to a residential area in the Northern side of Vilnius. Conceptual idea of school project was developed by the introduction of terraces both for the inside and outside spaces. Basically levelling of different volumes was introduced in order for children to develop in the most efficient way, by looking into the change of volumes, or through the transparent spaces.
Two volumes, kindergarten and school, have levellings, which represents philosophy of the school. Due to that, the height of the ceilings differs, in this way creating adventurous spaces for a child to discover and enjoy.

The cross-laminated timber structure is an abstraction of the formation of a sand dune over a period of time. A series of social gathering spaces have been divided by the positive and negative dimensions, and simultaneously captures the movement through the sand dune.
