The task of the project was to design a mixed-use housing complex in Aalborg. Its main goal is to offer an environment that enforces social diversity while respecting the different needs of each stage of life. To support this, a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces in the social belt between the buildings, where people can meet and interact, was made, as well as private, more intimate areas. Environmental sustainability and energy efficiency is ensured by using active and passive strategies.

CONCEPT The aim of the project is to unite all generations within one envelope and enhance different social interaction in the ‘social belt‘ using diverse social zones between blocks and on the facade, while guaranteeing possibility of privacy on the balcony, too.

The aim of the design was to propose a family house on the shore of the Lipno dam in South Bohe8th semester, spring 2017 mia. The form of the house was inuenced from Bachelor Thesis - Dwelling atypical, sloping land, so it appears to be a singleIndividual Work -storey from the main road and opens itself into the garden, where big windows are placed in order KEYWORDS to take an advantage of an amazing view. CONCEPT DIAGRAMS ENERGY DIAGRAM The building gains the energy from the solar panels on the roof, which is the only source of energy. The water comes from water-well on the site and can be also gathered as a rainwater, ďŹ ltered and stored in a storage basin. Thanks to the shading elements there is no problem with overheating in the summer.

HUMAN SENSES It was necessary to place and vision further design the cabin so it responds to the genius loci and aims to address all human senses. olfaction An important role here has a terrace in the second oor, that not only offers a view to the lake, but becomes also a place to relax and enjoy the thermoception sounds and smells of the forest.

5th semester, winter 2015 Small Public Facility Individual Work

The city hotel is located on the corner of two streets, just outside the border of the historical city centre of Písek in the south of the Czech Republic. My aim was to comply with the street line, make an arcade to place the terrace for the restaurant, enable the car parking in the courtyard (42 parking places in total) and work with the height of the surrounding buildings. There are two different entrances, one to the hotel reception and second to the restaurant, with a connecting hallway. Part of the project was also a construction calculation for span and carrying capacity.

There are 41 hotel rooms with the total accommodation capacity of 88 people. Most of the rooms are double-bed, but there is also one family-suite and one barrier free on each floor.
