GENERAL TOUR CONDITIONS - FIT 1. Reservation After receiving a written confirmation from Haman Scandinavia, your tour booking will be binding. The applicant is responsible for all tour participants. 2. Payment The reservation is confirmed by a tour confirmation and/or invoice. The terms of payment are stated on the invoice. These terms are binding. The tour documents will be sent after your payment has been received. When using credit cards, Haman Scandinavia claims the right to draw the invoiced amount the same day and a credit card fee will be added. 3. Itinerary changes Changes of itinerary need to be made through the Haman Scandinavia office. In case of a short term change, eventual extra costs can be charged to the customer. The same accounts if the customer replaces a guest on a short notice. 4. Cancellation by the customer In normal cases, free cancellations can be made until 15 days before the beginning of the tour. For cancellations later than 15 days the following cancellation charges apply: 14 – 5 days before arrival: 50% of the tour’s total price. 4 – 2 days before arrival: 75% of the tour’s total price. Less than 2 days before arrival: 100% of the tour’s total price. For tours including Color Line, free cancellation can only be made 1 month before the beginning of the tour.

For tours including maritime services with Hurtigruten, the booking is binding at time of reservation. If this service is cancelled this service will incur 100% cancellation fees. For hotel bookings including 1-3 hotels, free cancellation can be made until 48 hours (during office hours!) before arrival. Cancellations can be made during our office hours (Monday – Friday 09:00 – 17:00 hours). Cancellations being made during weekends and bank holidays will not be accepted. 5. Services Services included are stated in the day-by-day tour itinerary and are valid on the dates mentioned. 6. Unused services If the client does not - or not to their full extent- use the organized services, no refunds will be granted by Haman Scandinavia. 7. Program modifications In the interest of the client, Haman Scandinavia reserves the right to change certain travel services. 8. Withdrawal by Haman Scandinavia For reasons of higher power, Force Majeure, strike, political or warlike riots, epidemics, disasters etc Haman Scandinavia reserves the right to cancel the booked tour. Payments for services that cannot be consumed due to this kind of cancellation will be refunded to the client, but no further claims will be accepted.

9. Liability Haman Scandinavia Haman Scandinavia has the obligation to choose all services carefully, and to prepare the tour in the best way possible. In case services are not fully carried out because of Haman Scandinavia’s fault, Haman Scandinavia reserves the right to provide equivalent services in compensation. In this case, further damage claims are not accepted. Subject to this settlement, in case a breach of contract is committed the direct liability of Haman Scandinavia for immediate loss or injury to the client subsists, provided that the breach was not caused by Force Majeure or the behavior of the client or a tour participant, and that it is a question of the non-performance of a promised service or an alteration of services which has less value than the service agreed upon in the original agreement. The amount of this liability is restricted by the sum of the agreed cost of the tour. Furthermore the providers of the various services are basically personally liable to the client, in case the services are not being carried out in a satisfying way or to their full extent, contrary to the expectations. The liability of the individual coach, taxi, shipping and other transport companies contracted by Haman Scandinavia for the purpose of organizing a tour, depends on the appropriate laws of the general conditions of business, on the contracts obligations and on common usage. Any arising complaints must be directed to Haman Scandinavia immediately and confirmed in writing. In case complaints cannot be solved on the spot, they have to be directed to Haman Scandinavia in writing within 30 days after the termination of the tour. Later claims cannot be taken into consideration. 10. Insurances Haman Scandinavia recommends the customer to sign a travel and cancellation insurance 11. Passport, visa, customs, currency and health regulations Every participant is responsible for providing his own travel documents (i.e. passport, visa, vaccination certificates etc). We recommend a careful examination of the customs/duty regulations and currency regulations for the respective destination(s) and we stress the fact that various countries can keep these regulations very strictly. The customer is responsible for all measures, which need to be taken in consideration to his health to meet the necessary prophylactic precautions, which are recommended for the destination.
