“Members realize the importance of this election as well as voter participation and education throughout the political arena. We hope to inspire others in the LGBTQAI community to vote in addition to encouraging friends, partners, and co-workers to participate in the process. Our forbearers were subjected to violence and persecution and we owe it to them to go to the polls each and every time they open.” states Jeronica Byrd, current National President of Kappa Xi Omega Sorority Incorporated. Organizations wishing to partner with Kappa and it’s voter mobilization project can email the sorority at firstname.lastname@example.org to “Accept the Challenge”.
