Why I chose KWU: KWU was a school that caught my attention when I came on a visit, and was a good fit for me football wise.

At KWU: 2011 – Recorded statistics in ten of 11 team games, tallying 39 total tackles (16 solo), including two for loss. 2010 – Appeared in two varsity games, recording four total tackles (two solo)…Named as a 2011-12 Academic All-KCAC performer. High School: Attended Thayer High School (Mo.), graduating in 2010, playing for coach Billy Webber… The Bobcats made two state championship appearances and Martin was named First Team All-State in 2009… Graduated as class valedictorian.

At KWU: 2011 – As a sophomore, recorded statistics in nine games, making 35 receptions for 342 yards and four touchdowns…Earned Honorable Mention All-KCAC honors. Currently ranks tied for ninth all-time with 68 career receptions (David Harris, 1985). 2010 – As a freshman, appeared in all ten games grabbing 33 receptions for 555 yards and four scores…Earned Honorable Mention AllKCAC honors. Why I chose KWU: I liked the size of the school and that it had my major and great teachers. At KWU: 2011 – Listed as backup right tackle for the Coyote offense as a junior, helping the Coyotes rank 21st in the NAIA and fourth in the KCAC in rushing offense (1953 / 177.5 avg) and 33rd in the NAIA and fifth in the KCAC in pass offense (2190 / 199.1). 2010 – Played primarily junior varsity for the Coyotes. 2009 – Played primarily junior varsity for the Coyotes. High School: Attended Colleyville Heritage High School in Colleyville, Texas, graduating in 2009…Received Christian Athlete of the Year Award. Personal: Parents’ names are Sean and Misti McCoy…Has one sibling, Mallory…Was born in Waco, Texas…Nickname is “Big Jake”.
