Adult Education Schedule Adult Basic Education (ABE) General Educational Development (GED) High School Equivalency Diploma These programs are designed for the student to prepare for the GED high school equivalency diploma. The classes are for those who can read, but who would like to improve skills. Program features: • Study at your own pace. • No cost to the student. • Books are provided during class time. • New class sessions begin every five to eight weeks. • Open to anyone age 16 and over who is separated from his/ her high school and is no longer attending high school. • An online GED study option is available for those who pretest at the high school level. English as a Second Language (ESL) All English as a Second Language classes are provided at no cost to the student. The classes are designed for foreignborn adults who would like to improve their English language speaking and writing skills. Instructors and tutors work with students in small groups.
