Deaf Sign I – Part One

Turning 65: Medicare Parts A & B, and Medicare Supplemental Plans

There are many ways to communicate, but the art of sign language is one of the most eloquent. You will learn the English alphabet, vocabulary and sentence structure (time permitting). Instructor: Janet Hanson. Class note: 14 ISBE CPDUs available to Illinois teachers. 14 contact hours available to nurses, nursing home administrators, social workers, professional counselors/ clinical counselors, respiratory care technicians, occupational therapists and physical therapists. This informative program covers Medicare eligibility, enrollment and an overview of the benefits of Medicare Parts A and B. It also includes information on the standardized Medicare Supplemental plans and the benefit differences between each plan. Basic Spanish Conversation This course is designed to provide you with the Spanish required to communicate in common situations. Basic vocabulary, grammar and cultural aspects of the language will be introduced. Participants also will work on expressive and receptive skills. Instructor: Esther Tate.
