Christmas at Old Orchard: North Shore Glamour

Wine and cheese, properly paired, make a delightful combination; each enhances the flavor of the other. This 90-minute class will give you a basic understanding of how to pair wine with cheese. You’ll be able to sample six wines (red, white, sweet and dry) with six yummy cheeses, each with a different wine in mind. How to marry them properly? It takes skill, art and a little bit of magic! In this 90-minute class, you will learn about the intricacies of pairing wine with chocolate. If you are devoted to chocolate and to wine, this class is for you! Cake Decorating Basics

This is the foundation for all Wilton method courses. Successful decorating begins with the basics: organizing the ingredients and supplies, baking the cake, preparing it for decorating, making the icing, and learning to use the decorating tools. You will be taught to create the star, drop flower, piping gel transfers and the rose, among other techniques. Instructor: Christina Perozzi. Class note: Kits are available for approximately $30.
