Personalised Christening Gifts - Who are Going to Be The Godparents of The Royal Baby?
Kate and William have shown their new-born son to the world after the delivery, decided on the naming of their son and released the first royal family photo. So now they are onto the next stage, organising the Christening of their little Prince! The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are known for opposing Royal tradition. Up to now, the couple has taken a modern view of Royal parenting. William is the first senior royal to take paternity leave to spend Personalised Gifts for Children quality time with his little new-born prince and according to sources; the couple have rejected the idea of hiring a nanny. So this leads to the question, are William and Kate going to follow Royal tradition or organise Prince George’s baptism to their liking?
It is a royal tradition for royal christenings to be kept private affairs. However, a family photograph of the mother, father and child is more often than not released to the public. Two things we know for sure, is that Prince George Alexander Louis of Cambridge will be christened in a replica of the christening gown made for Queen Victoria’s eldest daughter in 1841. And that secondly, the ceremony won’t take place until the Queen has returned from her annual summer holiday in Balmoral. This means that we should expect the royal baby’s christening to occur sometime in early autumn.
But, who are going to be the godparents to the Prince of Cambridge? I think everyone’s bets are going to be on Prince Harry, Pippa or James Middleton or maybe William’s
old school friend Thomas van Straubenzee? It is normal for royal babies to have at least five or six godparents, so who knows! Whatever the Personalised Christening Gifts occasion or whoever the godparents will be, we know that the little prince is going to be spoilt with gifts. We should expect the prince and his parents to be given lots of personalised Christening gifts with the prince’s name proudly placed on them! And I’m sure there will be lots of room on the mantelpiece for William and Kate’s first child’s personalised Christening gifts.
