BIG THANK YOU!
There’s no better holiday gift… Thank you to the individuals, businesses and groups who helped make Moonlight Madness and Santa’s House a success. We have truly amazing people in our community and beyond that helped make this annual event very special to many children and adults. The parade route was longer this year, starting at Trailview Elementary and working its way to the Mora Mini Mall. This was a great way for the residents of St. Clare Living Community and others along the parade route who couldn’t get to town a way to be a part of the fun. Special thanks goes out to the Mora Fire Department, Brook Park Fire Department, Spring Lake Park-Blaine-Mounds View Fire Department, Kanabec County Sheriff ’s Office, FirstLight Health System and the Boy Scouts for helping to bring Santa into town in a BIG way, Santa for coming to Mora to visit these great kids again this year, Mora Mini Mall for hosting our event, Jake Olson at FishFlix for helping us out, businesses who participated, you have great small town spirit, Neighborhood National Bank and First Citizens Bank for sponsoring the cash drawing winners, Paradise Theatre for sponsoring the movie ticket drawing and last but not least, thank you to all who came out to watch the parade, visit with Santa and shop local. Without all of you, this event would never happen. Whether you worked for hours putting lights on your truck (thank you Brook Park Fire Department, your truck was amazing, your efforts will set the bar for next year!) or kept your business open late for shoppers, we appreciate your participation greatly. From Kanabec Publications to you, thank you for your help and have a very Merry Christmas.

Pipelines may not be where you expect! Pipeline marking signs do not indicate a pipeline’s exact location and never can you be sure of the depth of a pipeline. A pipeline may change direction and depth rapidly in a very short distance. The only safe method of locating a pipeline is by calling Gopher State One-Call and having a Northwest employee locate it for you. After you contact Gopher State One-Call a Northwest employee will visit your work site and mark the location of our pipeline for you at no charge. If your plans change after the pipeline is marked, call Gopher State One-Call again. Do not try to guess our pipeline’s location from previous markings or it’s depth from a previous measurement.

SNG Services Gunsmithing & Tool Sharpening
SNG Services is a gunsmith service, licensed firearms dealer, and full-service tool sharpening shop located just south of Mora, Minnesota. Owned and operated by Kanabec County resident Shawn Paul, SNG Services is a local company with a nationwide footprint. One of a few full-time gunsmiths in Minnesota, Paul has worked in gunsmithing since the 1980s. He likens the workings of a firearm to those of a vehicle. You bring your car to a professional mechanic when the transmission needs to be rebuilt, he says; and when a firearm needs service or repair, you should seek out the same level of care and expertise. As an experienced firearms mechanic with more than 30 years’ experience, Paul provides a level of excellence that can’t be found many other places.
SNG Services • Repair and customization of firearms • Sale of new and used firearms
Paul has a nationwide reputation, and is often consulted by firearms professionals across the country to fix and solve problems. He raised his family in the Mora area, however, and is committed to serving the community long-term. He treats customers as friends, and shows the same care for their firearms that he does for his own. Paul values his reputation and guarantees his work, believing that “if it can’t be done right it shouldn’t be done at all.” SNG Services also provides tool-sharpening services. From drill bits to lawnmower blades to scissors and knives, Paul can hone just about anything with a blade. “I can sharpen everything but your wit!” he laughs.
• Consignment sales • Insurance appraisalss • Sporting goods • Ammo sales • Hunting equipment and accessories • Large in-shop inventory
If you own a gun that hasn’t been fired in a while or needs repair, bring it to SNG Services for a full cleaning, inspection, and test fire.
• Firearms transfers • Pre- and post-season cleanings and safety checks • Full line of sharpening services for home & commercial users • All work guaranteed
Come in as a Customer... Leave as a Friend!
Dedicated to Shooters and their Sport! Business Hours: Mon. - Fri. 8am-5:30pm, Sat. 8am-5pm
